17th International Conference on Motivation (ICM)

August 26, 2022
Joint events of the 2022 – SIG8 meets SIG16 Conference

After two years marked by COVID-19, more than 250 researchers from all over the world presented and discussed their current research on the interplay of Motivation, Emotion, Metacognition, and Self-regulated learning, both in Dresden as well as online. The scientific program of the conference reflected the diversity of our research fields and offered a rich coverage of issues related to the conference theme “Motivation and Emotion meets Metacognition and Self-regulated Learning” (SIG 8-meets-SIG 16). The organization of this conference has been a collaborative endeavor of the „Psychology of Learning and Instruction“ research group at the Faculty of Psychology at the TU Dresden, the EARLI SIG 8 – Motivation and Emotion, and, for the „Joint Day,“ the EARLI SIG 16 – Metacognition and Self-regulated Learning.

The Organizing Committee did their best to organize an inspiring conference despite the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very happy and proud to share some fond memories of the conference with you with this picture gallery. Thank you so much for making this conference such an inspiring event!
